Senior/Lead Product QA Engineer (AI Product)

About the role Hi, we're the Findies team, looking for our first dedicated Product QA Engineer . Right now, our dev team uses AI to move incredibly fast, but quality still lives in everyone's head and gets caught only in the final checks before a release. Your job is to change that. You will own quality across our entire product infrastructure: two mobile apps (iOS & Android) and our web platform. This is not a typical 'run the checklist' role . We are looking for a product-minded QA who will build our testing strategy from scratch , align quality with engineering workflows, and directly influence whether we are ready to ship to our users. Reality Check We are a fast-moving team transforming how people shop, using non-linear AI experts. This means there are no legacy QA processes or pre-written test plans here yet. You will face constant ambiguity and will need to establish best practices entirely on your own. If you prefer rigid corporate structures and ready-made documentation, this role will likely feel overwhelming. Your Mission Build the QA foundation from scratch: establish risk maps, design clear test cases, maintain a regression suite, and set up test environments/accounts for our web and mobile applications. Embed QA into the SDLC: join features at the requirements stage, define acceptance criteria alongside product and engineering, and implement structured bug triage and release checklists. Own critical user flows: validate core customer experiences, including non-linear AI chat interactions, personalized shopping expert recommendations, product search, and database responses. Leverage AI tools natively: actively use AI in your daily routine to optimize test coverage, analyze logs, streamline reporting, and keep pace with our development team's high-speed deployment cycle. Drive metrics and monitoring: track and report on crash-free rates, app store performance, support tickets, and API behavior to help prioritize what the engineering team fixes next. What Makes You the Perfect Fit 4+ years of experience in QA roles testing both mobile products (iOS/Android) and web applications. Proven track record of building QA infrastructure from scratch , rather than just maintaining an existing framework. Strong understanding of client-server architecture and hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman/Swagger, or Fiddler). Solid technical toolkit: comfort analyzing database behaviors (SQL), navigating backend structures, and reviewing logs/crash reports. An exceptional eye for detail and product taste: you care deeply about smooth animations, intuitive UI layout (Figma proficiency is a big plus), and the overall consumer feel of a product. Extreme autonomy: high ownership and the ability to execute without requiring a manager to hand you a predefined test plan. Language: Ukrainian, Upper-Intermediate (B2+) English or higher.
