About the Company: Our client is a company that focuses on driving organic performance for local service businesses.

About the Role: This role is for a hands-on strategist and implementor who owns organic performance for an assigned portfolio of local service businesses. The strategist will conduct keyword research, build plans, implement optimizations directly in Elementor and RankMath/Yoast, publish provided content, and analyze data to prove results. Content writing is not part of this role; all body copy is written in-house. The strategist will be responsible for writing briefs, metadata, and schema, and executing all on-page tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Own organic performance for an assigned portfolio of local service businesses.
• Conduct keyword research.
• Build SEO plans.
• Implement optimizations directly in Elementor and RankMath/Yoast.
• Publish provided content.
• Write briefs, metadata, and schema.
• Execute all on-page SEO tasks.

Qualifications:

• Independent strategic judgment; ability to prioritize and defend SEO strategies based on site data.
• Proficiency in Elementor for editing live pages without disrupting layouts, tracking, or forms.
• 3+ years of hands-on on-page SEO experience with demonstrated ranking and traffic improvements.
• Experience with local service businesses (e.g., home services, contracting, HVAC, electrical).
• Fluency in Google Search Console (GSC) and Google Analytics (GA).
• Experience with at least one major SEO platform (Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or comparable).

Required Skills:

• Agency background.
• Multi-location local SEO experience.
• Google Business Profile (GBP) alignment.
• Depth of knowledge in schema/structured data.
• Aware of AI search and entity optimization.

Preferred Skills:

• Independent and strategic thinker.
• Hands-on implementor.
• Data-driven decision maker.

Pay range and compensation package: Payment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate's preference. Full-time remote opportunity.
