Requirements Required – Technical Skills Over 4 years of experience administering Unix/Linux servers Advanced experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Oracle Linux, AIX, SUSE Linux Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining Unix/Linux operating systems Experience managing physical, virtualized, and cloud infrastructure, VMware, AWS, Azure Ability to ensure server availability, security, and performance Experience with infrastructure monitoring, performance analysis, and troubleshooting Knowledge of capacity planning and preventive maintenance Experience with OS hardening, vulnerability management, patching, and security controls Knowledge of enterprise storage technologies, LVM, NFS, SAN, multipathing Experience with high availability, clustering, and disaster recovery (DRP) Experience with Bash scripting and automation tools, Ansible, Python Strong networking knowledge, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancers Experience managing incidents, changes, and problems under ITIL practices Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Ability to document technical procedures and operational standards Nice to Have (Technical Skills) RHCSA or RHCE certification LPIC-2 or LPIC-3 certification ITIL Foundation certification AWS SysOps Administrator certification Azure Administrator certification Responsibilities (Activities to perform) Administer and maintain AIX, Unix, and Linux servers Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and availability Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes Install and configure server hardware and software Troubleshoot operating system, infrastructure, and performance issues Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions Manage incidents, changes, problems, and vulnerabilities Implement security hardening and compliance controls Support backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery processes Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python, and Ansible Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures Support capacity planning and preventive maintenance initiatives Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams Follow up on vendor support cases and escalations Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and operational standards Required Languages English: Advanced Additional Information Location Mexico (Hybrid) Bogotá and surroundings (Hybrid) Rest of Colombia (Remote) Special Conditions Availability for OnCall
