We usually respond within three days We are looking for a Service Control Engineer for Hitachi Energy, someone who can contribute to the efficient operation of various projects. In this role, you will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with diverse engineering teams Responsibilities: Troubleshooting, both remotely and on-site, including the replacement of components. Commissioning and training at customer sites. Providing professional support to customers and collaborating with Control Engineering, Project Managers, System Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Preparing technical documentation of the work performed. Evaluating, planning, and implementing component/system exchanges for mid-voltage frequency converters and providing sales support in the concept and tendering phase. Collaborating with Control Engineering to program and document control software, as well as specifying manufacturing and test documentation. Implementing PC updates related to cybersecurity. Background: Bachelor's degree (Uni / FH) in electrical engineering with solid experience in process control and software design, including proficiency in 800xA Control Builder or another programming language with structured text. Extensive knowledge in the field of control engineering and power electronics. IT knowledge in the area of cybersecurity. Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written. Willingness to travel within Germany (approximately 75% of the time) for commissioning. A responsible team player with strong communication skills. Quick and precise comprehension and a willingness to learn new techniques, applications, and processes. Experience working in a multicultural, international environment.
