What we can offer you; 25 days of annual leave Access to our enhanced pension scheme Free physiotherapy service Discounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential Stream - Employee financial well-being support: early access to your earned pay, savings, budgeting, financial coaching & rewards What you'll be doing; ● Ensure Quality, Health, Safety and Environment remains the number one priority within the transport operation, providing a safe workplace for employees. ● Manage the service delivery on a daily basis, including the dynamic planning of work to vehicles / routes, proactively communicating with customers, maintaining contact with drivers throughout the day, and undertaking debriefs ● Ensure that Service excellence is delivered, this includes: ○ Delivery of service ○ Taking customer phone calls ○ Recovery (next working day) and communication of non-service/missed lifts ○ within company parameters. ○ Assist the Service Manager to identify routing efficiencies and capacity. ○ Effective container stock level control and customer and driver communication. ● Assist the Service Manager to ensure People management processes and procedures are adhered to in line with company policies. ● Deliver Toolbox Talks to drivers and operatives ● Conduct first stage formal investigations into accidents and incidents as directed by the Service Manager ● Adhere to and comply with all aspects of Operator Licence obligations ● Manage the day to day activities of all drivers at the depot including compliance, performance and leave entitlements ● Work closely with the Service Manage to deliver depot KPI’s ● Ensure that all safety concerns and near misses are logged on Eco online and closed off within the company’s agreed timescales and quality feedback is provided to originators ● Updating waller planner ● Booking MOTs & Services What we're looking for; Essential: Able to demonstrate an understanding of transport compliance and WTD Good communication skills communicating with people of all levels including drivers, front line employees and customers Ability to organise a busy workload and operate at a fast pace Working with a quality management system e.g. ISO Managing transport compliance. Experienced IT Skills, and the ability to adapt to Google operating systems Desirable: Previous experience operating within a similar industry; waste/transport/logistics What’s next?
