Role Description This is a full-time, remote ServiceNow Developer role responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise workflows and IT service management. The ServiceNow Developer will build and customize applications, modules, and integrations, ensuring they align with business requirements and platform best practices. Day-to-day activities include developing back-end logic and scripts, maintaining and optimizing existing ServiceNow implementations, and troubleshooting issues to improve performance and user experience. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, create technical specifications, and deliver tested, documented enhancements. The developer will contribute to continuous improvement by staying current with ServiceNow releases and recommending new features and capabilities.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles and software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, focusing on server-side logic and integrations.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, including scripting languages commonly used in ServiceNow (e.g., JavaScript).
• Practical knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and applying OOP concepts to design scalable solutions.
• Experience developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD or similar).
• Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, data integration patterns, and secure communication between systems.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs, with clear documentation and testing practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• ServiceNow certifications (such as Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer) are a plus.
