Here’s what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires: The ServiceNow Systems Engineer will provide technical expertise and execution of projects / engagements for our clients on the ServiceNow platform. ServiceNow experience should include but not limited to the following: • Practical, hands-on experience with various versions of the ServiceNow platform is a must. • Strong Implementation experience on all core modules of the IT Service management product and ITOM. • Experience with other ServiceNow products including: Virtual Agent, AppEngine, SPM, HAM, SecOps, SAMPro, HRSD, Now Assist. • Experience configuring tables, forms, views, workflows, notifications to deploy and automate IT and business services delivered. • CMDB experience with multiple sources of data including ServiceNow Discovery, Integrations with other tools, and data imports. Service Mapping experience is also a plus. • ServiceNow Integration experience with multiple of the following: Email, JDBC, JSON, LDAP, SOAP, REST, SCCM, SCOM, SMS, SSO - SAML 1.1, SSO - SAML 2.0, OpenID , Digest Authentication, ODBC, Data Export, CTI. • Practical knowledge of web based development languages; specifically JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS and ServiceNow API's, Web Services This position will work with Practice Architects and project / engagement managers to understand client and scope requirements and tasks. Roles and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: • Gathering and documenting discovery information in an efficient manner. • Assist in compilation and analysis of discovery information, providing findings and recommendations as appropriate • Assist in planning and design of new implementations • Implementation and build-out of enterprise-class ServiceNow workflows, scripting, and configuration. • Creation and execution of test plans for changes • Troubleshoot and solve highly complex technical issues using a logical troubleshooting approach with attention to detail, status reporting, and SOPs • Provide daily reporting of events, activities, and documentation updates Job Qualifications and Experience: Knowledge Skills and Abilities: • 5+ years of ServiceNow admin and development experience. • Ability to work remotely as primary location but can also travel to customer sites as needed, up to 10%, depending on the project / engagement • Effective verbal / written communications skills and the ability to explain and document technical activities • Ability to interact and collaborate successfully with a wide variety of business, operating, and technical staff • Excellent customer communication and time management skills • Must have strong relationship building/management skill • Knowledge of ITSM concepts – ITIL Certification is an asset Education: Associate degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent training/educating/experience required. • ServiceNow Certification(s) o CSA o CIS is preferred • Intermediate MS Office Skills • Knowledge of network, storage, server, and application architecture Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $99000.00 - $148300.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
