Location: Remote (UK)

Contract: Initial 12-month contract

Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35)

A ServiceNow ITSM Tester is required to support a large-scale ServiceNow implementation programme.

This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of ServiceNow solutions through functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and execute test scripts across ServiceNow ITSM modules, including ITOM Discovery.
• Support functional, integration, regression and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases and test results.
• Validate functionality across Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB and ITOM.
• Manage defects through logging, triage, prioritisation and retesting.
• Work closely with developers, architects, business SMEs and process owners throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Prepare test data and maintain test environments.
• Support UAT planning, execution and issue resolution.
• Produce test documentation, metrics and test completion reports.
• Promote the use of the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and testing best practice.

Required experience:

• Proven experience testing ServiceNow ITSM implementations.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITSM modules and testing methodologies.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression and UAT testing.
• Experience using test and defect management tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow platform standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable:

• Experience with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery.
• Experience using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Relevant ServiceNow or testing certifications.
