We are currently partnering with a leading US-based insurance client on a large-scale Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) transformation project focused on modernizing their marketing technology stack and customer lifecycle communications.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Lead who can own the end-to-end technical delivery of enterprise SFMC implementations while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and client leadership.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud along with excellent stakeholder management, project management, and communication skills. This role requires someone who can translate business requirements into technical execution, drive delivery excellence, and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced client environment.
Key Responsibilities: SFMC Technical Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
- Design, review, and oversee the development of scalable customer journeys.
- Ensure timely, high-quality technical deliveries while mentoring developers.
- Drive best practices across SFMC architecture, development, and deployment.
Journey Architecture & Customer Experience
- Design and optimize customer communication journeys across Email, SMS, and Direct Mail.
- Consolidate multiple customer journeys into unified, scalable workflows.
- Build robust customer lifecycle experiences with advanced decision logic and fallback mechanisms.
Data & System Integrations
- Manage data flow between Guidewire and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Ensure payload integrity and event-driven API integrations.
- Maintain SFMC Data Extensions and customer data architecture.
- Support integrations with Segment CDP, Snowflake, Claravine, Search Ads 360, Meta Ads, and other marketing platforms.
Project & Delivery Management
- Plan, track, and manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate with developers, QA teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Drive sprint planning, task allocation, progress tracking, and risk management.
- Use project management tools such as JIRA to manage workflows effectively.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary technical point of contact between client stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks.
Quality Assurance & Monitoring
- Establish monitoring mechanisms to ensure stable data connectivity across systems.
- Identify and resolve integration issues proactively.
- Ensure solution quality, reliability, and performance throughout the project lifecycle.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

- Proven experience leading enterprise SFMC implementations.
- Strong project planning and execution capabilities.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as JIRA.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and ensure timely project delivery.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to business users.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
AI & Productivity Tools
The ideal candidate should be comfortable leveraging modern AI tools to improve productivity and delivery efficiency.
Experience with tools such as:

- Other AI-assisted development and documentation tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications are preferred.
- Experience in the Insurance domain is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with US-based clients.
