As the SharePoint Developer, you will provide technical services in developing custom workflows and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) within SharePoint to accommodate service requests from SharePoint customers. This work is performed under the supervision of more senior personnel. Duties to include: Provides technical services in developing custom workflows and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) within SharePoint to accommodate service requests from SharePoint customers. This work is performed under the supervision of more senior personnel. Troubleshoots and debugs applications and application components. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and clients to define, design and deploy applications and enhancements that meet the needs of the company, its clients, and end users. Configures a design that satisfies business requirements and desired specifications, including performance and security requirements. Researches, evaluates and implements new technology to optimize application efficiency, reliability and usability. Maintains records to document technical and functional developments and revisions as well as document libraries and site collections. Requirements Clearance: Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated background investigation (BI) conducted by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The level of the BI for this work is Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) Must be a US citizen. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or 4 years Experience in lieu of education At least 3 years experience as a SharePoint Developer Familiar with the following development technologies and strategies: Microsoft SharePoint Online Services Microsoft SQL Server Technical Services Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Automate, PowerApps) Change and Configuration Management Introduction to site publishing for designers and developers in SharePoint Online Using Power Automate, Site Templates, MS best practices for large organizations Managing all Phases of Content Lifecycle Authoring, design, and branding in SharePoint Design Management Custom Code using PowerShell, .Net server, .NET client, Silverlight and JavaScript libraries Design and deploy provisioning governance site and auditing capabilities Develop site owner console to assist with records management and Bureau assignment of orphaned SP sites Publishing sites, client object model programming, and the new SharePoint app model .NET client object model for app development Surveys, account management and eCommerce support integrating social features and external data into publishing websites Page model for publishing websites Master pages, page layouts, and other components that render your site structure, content, look and feel, and behavior.
