Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a Senior Shopify & E-commerce Specialist to take ownership of the development, optimization, integration, and day-to-day technical management of multiple Shopify-based e-commerce stores.

This role goes beyond Shopify development. The ideal candidate combines strong Shopify development skills with hands-on e-commerce experience, understands how online stores operate from both a technical and commercial perspective, and can connect different stores, platforms, apps, and marketing tools to support growth.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Develop, customize, maintain, and optimize multiple Shopify stores and storefronts.

• Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Configure and manage Shopify Admin, products, collections, navigation, apps, and store settings.

• Connect Shopify stores with third-party platforms, APIs, apps, CRMs, analytics, and marketing tools.

• Troubleshoot integrations, bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems across different stores.

• Support the launch, migration, and ongoing management of new Shopify stores.

• Understand e-commerce funnels, conversion optimization, customer experience, and online merchandising.

• Work closely with marketing teams to implement tracking, pixels, analytics, landing pages, promotional campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.

• Help connect store data with marketing and analytics platforms to improve reporting and decision-making.

• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive e-commerce processes and improve operational efficiency.

• Monitor store performance, conversion rates, user experience, SEO, and overall site health.

• Collaborate with marketing, design, and operations teams to implement initiatives that drive revenue and customer engagement.

• Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code and integrations.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on Shopify development and e-commerce experience.

• Strong proficiency in Shopify, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Proven experience managing and customizing multiple Shopify stores.

• Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and best practices.

• Experience connecting Shopify with third-party apps, APIs, CRMs, analytics, and marketing platforms.

• Understanding of conversion optimization, SEO, analytics, and digital marketing workflows.

• Experience troubleshooting complex Shopify integrations and technical issues.

• Ability to work closely with marketing teams and translate business/marketing requirements into technical solutions.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills:

• Shopify Plus experience.

• Experience with Shopify APIs and custom Shopify apps.

• Experience with Google Analytics/GA4, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and other marketing/analytics platforms.

• Experience integrating Shopify with CRM, email marketing, advertising, and automation platforms.

• Experience with Git/version control.

• Knowledge of e-commerce SEO and conversion rate optimization.

• Experience working with multiple brands or e-commerce businesses simultaneously.
