Site Planner

About The Role The Site Planner 1 is primarily responsible for completion of lot fit requests, redraws, and supporting the New Home Starts department as needed. What You’ll Do Complete lot fit requests. Complete site plan redraws as assigned. Set up preliminary site plans from surveys or plats on AutoCAD. Maintain an understanding of current Perry Homes design standards, code and community guidelines, as they apply to lot fits and redraws. From time to time must complete projects on very short notice with extreme time constraints. What We’re Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Drafting or Design preferred. Requires at least 1 year of experience in basic drafting methods, and an understanding of symbols and techniques of drawing via AutoCAD. Basic knowledge of Architectural Language pertaining to residential construction. Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability to read blueprints, surveys, Metes & Bounds descriptions. Experience in civil drafting preferred.
