We have an incredible opportunity for a Site Selection Lead to join ICON’s Accellacare team. The Site Selection lead will provide functional leadership for the Site Selection process for the Accellacare Site Network based on the approved country and site strategy. They will liaise with the PM, CTM, and Sponsors to ensure delivery of the Last Site Selected Milestone. This role is with Accellacare , part of ICON's clinical research network, where you’ll play a key role in transforming the clinical trial experience for patients and sponsors alike. Our global site network is designed with one goal in mind: to deliver better access, greater efficiency, and improved outcomes in clinical research. Location: Remote (United States) What you will be doing: Serve as the primary point of contact for all site selection activities across assigned clinical studies Lead end-to-end site selection strategy, partnering with cross-functional teams, sponsors, and country feasibility managers to ensure successful study execution Develop and implement protocol-specific site selection criteria, site profiles, questionnaires, ranking methodologies, and recruitment strategies Collaborate with Study Start-Up and Project Management teams to deliver site activation milestones, including First Patient In (FPI), on time and within budget Oversee site outreach activities, providing leadership, training, performance management, and mentorship to site selection team members Conduct site due diligence, feasibility assessments, and risk evaluations to ensure regulatory compliance, data integrity, and selection of high-performing investigative sites Monitor study budgets, timelines, resource utilization, and key performance metrics, providing accurate tracking, reporting, and strategic recommendations to sponsors and project teams Ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of feasibility, recruitment, and site selection data while maintaining documentation in applicable systems Prepare and deliver client presentations, support business development efforts, and provide strategic expertise on site and country selection planning Travel (approximately 15%) domestic and/or international Your Profile: 5+ years of site selection and/or feasibility experience at either a clinical research site, CRO, or sponsor company Demonstrated ability to interpret clinical trial protocols and translate study requirements into site selection criteria, feasibility assessments, and site-specific operational needs Strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines, FDA/EMA regulations, and clinical research requirements Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with experience evaluating site performance, feasibility data, and recruitment projections Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present recommendations and build relationships with sponsors, investigators, and internal stakeholders Bachelor's degree in life sciences or other related field #LI-Remote #LI-TP1 #LI-Accellacare Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
