Overview
We are seeking a Senior Database Migration Engineer to support the development of an AI-powered modernization platform that automates application and database migrations at scale. This individual will serve as the technical authority for complex database migration scenarios, helping design, validate, and troubleshoot the migration of legacy database platforms to Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL.
The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with legacy database technologies such as DB2, Sybase, and Oracle, along with a proven track record delivering large-scale heterogeneous database migrations. This role will partner closely with cloud architects, AI engineers, and platform developers to resolve migration edge cases, validate conversion outcomes, and ensure data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is 80-90/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
