Summary: Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a SME I/ Program Manager to carry out a broad array of program management and administrative activities for DHQP Information Management Support. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Coordinate and manage Goldbelt IT and analytic contractor-supported projects for the Surveillance Branch ensuring activities remain aligned with established project objectives, priorities, timelines, and expected outcomes. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and work breakdown structures for Surveillance Branch IT and analytic initiatives supported by Goldbelt contractor personnel. Coordinate Goldbelt project activities across contractor teams, Surveillance Branch staff, technical subject matter experts, and other project stakeholders to support successful and timely completion of project objectives. Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, decisions, and action items and provide routine project status updates to Surveillance Branch leadership and project stakeholders. Facilitate project planning sessions, status meetings, requirements discussions, and other project-related meetings involving Goldbelt contractor personnel and Surveillance Branch stakeholders. Identify, document, and track project risks, issues, and dependencies; coordinate mitigation activities and elevate matters that may affect project scope, schedule, resources, or deliverables. Coordinate Goldbelt contractor resources across Surveillance Branch IT and analytic projects to support project schedules, priorities, and anticipated workload. Monitor Goldbelt contractor progress against approved project plans and timelines and coordinate follow-up actions when activities or deliverables are at risk of delay. Maintain project documentation, including project schedules, milestone trackers, risk and issue logs, decision logs, action-item trackers, meeting documentation, and project status reports. Coordinate the collection, documentation, and clarification of Surveillance Branch business and technical requirements needed to support Goldbelt contractor project activities. Facilitate communication among Goldbelt Surveillance Branch project owners, contractor teams, technical staff, and other stakeholders to resolve project dependencies and maintain progress toward established objectives. Coordinate changes to project scope, priorities, schedules, or requirements and assess potential impacts on Goldbelt contractor resources, deliverables, dependencies, and completion dates. Support project resource planning by identifying Goldbelt contractor staffing needs, skill requirements, scheduling conflicts, and potential resource gaps affecting Surveillance Branch IT and analytic projects. Assist Goldbelt Program Manager with project deliverable reviews with appropriate Surveillance Branch stakeholders and track requested updates or corrective actions through completion. Prepare and present project status information summarizing accomplishments, upcoming milestones, schedule status, risks, issues, resource needs, and decisions requiring management attention. Coordinate project transition, implementation, and closeout activities, including documentation, knowledge transfer, outstanding action items, and transition of completed solutions to operational support. Apply appropriate tools to promote consistency, accountability, transparency, and effective coordination across Surveillance Branch Goldbelt IT and analytic contractor-supported projects Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint). Excellent judgment and decision-making; capable of working independently with ability to multitask successfully. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges. Highly organized with great attention to detail. Demonstrated responsibility and leadership in a public health or related program. Knowledge of project management systems and application of project management software. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field. 1–2 years of experience coordinating federal contract projects or programs. Previous experience working with the government procedures and guidelines. Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Public Health or related field. 3-5 years of experience coordinating federal contract projects or programs. PMP Certification. Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment Pay and Benefits The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $135,000 annually.
