The Role Have you ever wanted to be the face of a brand? Then this is your chance. Your day-to-day objectives will be to develop, create, and produce our content strategy on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms while being on camera and being the face of our brand to the world. You will play a key role in expanding Step’s brand through our channels, researching trends, creators, innovating, and will be on camera. You will own the production of trending, relevant video content across our content ecosystem. Each week is different and will push you to flex your creative, analytical, and operational skills. This role will give you the opportunity to showcase your talents, create content, be on camera, and grow our social channels. The Social Media Content Lead possesses both right and left-brain skills. You have the aptitude to develop creative content from start to finish with strong communication skills and the ability to understand trends and apply them to our content. You will be closest to all our content on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, and ensure we continue to improve and leverage it to the fullest. What You’ll Do Become the face of Step’s social content, being on camera talent Own the end-to-end organic social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Identify and tap into emerging trends and tools to maximize the reach and success of our content Produce, edit, post, and optimize platform-native content for each channel Drive channel optimizations, audience development, engagement, and growth for each platform Utilize analytics and data to improve our content and influence the strategy for each platform What We’re Looking For 5+ years of creating content on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms Deep passion for personal finance and financial literacy, and are actively consuming short-form and long-form financial content Invested in helping the next generation take control of their financial future and creating financial literacy content to help people improve their financial futures You love creating and editing content, being on camera, and are passionate about all things social media Proven expertise in platform-native content creation across major social channels (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels/Stories, YouTube, X/Twitter) You are obsessed with all things social media and have a robust understanding of Gen-Z Detail-oriented and highly organized Highly creative, brainstorming comes as second nature How we're different We stand for the side hustlers, the creators, the freelancers, and the investors — people who are not afraid to take on challenges, especially when it comes to their finances.
