About the Internship
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator Intern who is interested in developing professional social media content and gaining practical experience in a digital agency environment.
The intern will work on social media designs that match our existing brand identity, visual style, and content direction.
This is an initially unpaid internship, with the opportunity to receive an official internship certificate/letter from an Australian company upon successful completion.
Performance-based incentives may also be offered after the first 3 months, depending on the intern's performance and contribution.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality social media posts that align with our existing brand identity.
- Develop visually appealing graphics for Instagram and other social media platforms.
- Maintain consistency in fonts, layouts, typography, colors, and overall visual style.
- Adapt existing content styles into fresh and original designs.
- Create promotional, educational, and engagement-focused content.
- Work with the team to understand campaigns, services, and content requirements.
- Ensure designs are professional, polished, and suitable for publication.
- Make revisions based on feedback.
- Learn and improve professional social media design skills through practical work.
Required Skills
- Basic to strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Good understanding of social media design and visual communication.
- Understanding of typography, spacing, composition, and branding.
- Ability to recreate an existing visual style while producing original designs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and improve.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Canva-only designers will not be considered.
We are specifically looking for candidates who are comfortable working with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Pre-Internship Design Task
Before being selected for the internship, candidates will be required to complete a design task.
The task will be based on the existing content and visual direction of our Instagram page:

Candidates will be asked to create an original social media post that captures the same overall vibe, visual quality, and branding style of the page.
The task will be used to evaluate:
- Design quality
- Creativity
- Understanding of the brand's visual identity
- Typography and layout
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow an existing design direction
- Professional use of Photoshop and Illustrator
Successful completion of the design task is required before selection.
Internship Details
Type: Remote Internship
Initial Compensation: Unpaid
Internship Letter/Certificate: Provided upon successful completion
Performance Incentives: May be offered based on performance after 3 months
Working Hours
Working hours can be discussed and agreed upon based on availability.
The internship may be structured as either:
- 4 hours per day, or
- 8 hours per day
The agreed working schedule must be followed consistently.
Punctuality & Attendance
Punctuality is mandatory.
Interns are expected to:
- Be available and ready to work at the agreed starting time.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Follow the agreed working schedule.
- Communicate in advance regarding any unavoidable absence or delay.
- Complete assigned work within the agreed deadlines.
This is a professional internship, not a mysterious arrangement where "I'll join whenever I wake up" counts as a schedule.
