Social Media Coordinator Outpost24 is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team in Barcelona! If you're passionate about social media, content creation, and building engaging digital communities, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As our Social Media Coordinator, you'll help grow the organic presence of both the Outpost24 and Specops brand across LinkedIn, YouTube, and Mastodon. Working closely with content, product marketing, and design teams, you'll transform cybersecurity and B2B technology topics into compelling content that drives awareness, engagement, and brand growth. What You’ll Do Platform Management: Plan, schedule, and publish tailored posts across LinkedIn, YouTube Organic (video management, titles, SEO metadata, thumbnails), and Mastodon (decentralized community engagement and tech updates). Visual Asset Creation: Create fast, eye-catching social graphics, carousel slides, and video cover thumbnails using Canva and light editing software to maintain visual consistency. Community Engagement & Moderation: Monitor channels daily, reply promptly to comments/mentions, and maintain a fast response time across all accounts. B2B Content Repurposing: Adapt whitepapers, webinars, blogs, and product releases into bite-sized, platform-optimized social formats (text posts, carousels, short clips). Performance Tracking: Monitor engagement, reach, click-through rates, and audience growth across channels, delivering actionable insights for continuous organic improvement. Quality Control: Maintain flawless standards in spelling, grammar, links, tags, and formatting across every single post. What We’re Looking For 2–3 Years of Experience: Direct background in a dedicated Social Media Specialist or Coordinator role. Fluent/Native English (Must-Have): Exceptional written and spoken English skills tailored for professional B2B audiences, and a second European language is an advantage. B2B Marketing Background: Proven track record in B2B social media (cybersecurity, software, or tech experience preferred). Platform Expertise: Solid experience managing LinkedIn organic, YouTube channel optimization, and familiar with decentralized tech communities like Mastodon. Graphic Design Skills: Hands-on experience with Canva (or similar design software) to create clean, branded social graphics and carousels quickly. Meticulous Attention to Detail: High standards for clean formatting, accurate tagging, broken-link checking, and error-free copy. Fast Response Time: A proactive attitude toward real-time community monitoring, comments, and internal marketing requests. Nice-to-Haves Basic understanding of B2B lead generation funnels and web analytics. Familiarity with additional design/editing tools (e.g., Clipchamp, Photoshop, or PowerDirector). Experience with social media scheduling and social listening tools (e.g., Buffer, Sprout Social, Hootsuite). But what’s in it for you?
