Job Overview: The Social Media Coordinator supports North American Retail (U.S. and Canada) brand marketing initiatives through the execution of organic social media and digital content. This role focuses on supporting consistent, engaging, and brand-aligned social content while assisting with influencer programs, community engagement, and performance tracking across platforms. This position supports the execution of distinct social content strategies for U.S. and Canadian Retail, ensuring alignment to market-specific needs while maintaining overall brand consistency. Essential Duties and responsibilities Execute and support day-to-day organic social media activity across U.S. and Canadian Retail brand platforms, including scheduling, publishing, formatting, tagging, and ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines, campaign plans, and platform best practices. Assist with development, adaptation, localization, and rollout of social-first content, including captions, graphics, short-form video, campaign assets, and basic content capture or on-camera support when appropriate. Coordinate with internal creative teams, marketing partners, agencies, influencers, creators, and external partners to support content initiatives, influencer deliverables, asset management, approvals, and campaign timelines. Monitor and engage with social communities across platforms, responding to select comments, routing customer service or product inquiries, organizing partnership opportunities, and escalating issues to the appropriate internal stakeholders. Support social listening, performance tracking, dashboard maintenance, and regular reporting to identify trends, sentiment, engagement opportunities, and optimization insights across U.S. and Canadian audiences. Maintain organized workflows and clear communication across brands, regions, and teams to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. Qualifications 3 years of experience in corporate social media, digital marketing, or content creation brand, agency or business setting is required Experience creating or supporting content for TikTok and other short-form video platforms, including an understanding Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices Experience using social media scheduling, publishing, community management, and reporting tools; Sprout Social experience preferred Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects across brands and markets in a fast-paced environment Highly collaborative and team oriented, supportive of new initiatives while engaging participation with others Salary Transparency: High Liner Foods’ compensation offerings are founded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $55,000 - $60,000 the base pay is offered based on a variety of factors including geographical market location, and may vary depending on job grading practices, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity factors. As part of our total rewards offering, employees may be eligible to participate in an annual short-term incentive program [and long-term incentive program] (for Dir+) subject to program eligibility requirements.
