Social Media Creative

Social Media Creative will serve as the voice of the company across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social channels, ensuring consistent and engaging communication that reflects GrayMatter Networks’ brand image and values. This part-time, remote role requires a creative, strategic, and analytical professional who will manage, execute, and optimize our presence on social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and post content on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms
• Write clear, on-brand captions and post copy tailored to each platform
• Design simple graphics using tools like Canva (posts, stories, carousels, basic short-form videos)
• Maintain consistent brand identity (colors, fonts, logos, tone) across all content
• Keep and follow a simple content calendar to ensure regular posting
• Monitor basic engagement (likes, comments, messages) and flag important items to the team
• Organize and maintain digital assets (images, logos, templates, design files)
• Review basic performance metrics and share simple insights for improvement
  
  

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience managing social media for a business, brand, agency, or organization
• Portfolio or links showing social media content and/or design work (required)
• Strong skills in Canva or similar design tools
• Good written English with attention to detail and brand consistency
• Understanding of how Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn are used for business pages
• Already has experience (even if used later in the role) with:
• Designing simple newsletters
• Creating logo variations, social media banners, and basic marketing graphics
• Creating professional email signatures and email header banners
• Bonus: Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Active Campaigns or similar)
• Organized, reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Open to feedback and continuous improvement
  

Working hours (Changed if needed)

• Must be available and online in Slack from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Eastern Time, Monday to Friday, for team collaboration and check-ins
