Social Media & Events Marketing Intern

We’re looking for a Marketing Intern who likes to make things happen. This role focuses on executing social media posts and supporting marketing events—the behind-the-scenes work that brings campaigns to life. Additionally, you have the opportunity to work directly with Danny Shaw, CEO who has over a decade of experience leading Global B2B and fashion retail marketing teams. You are • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. • Strong attention to detail and interest in media and events. • Comfortable working with documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. • Clear written communication skills. • Fun, creative, organized, and willing to learn Opportunity • Social Media Execution o Schedule and publish social media posts (primarily LinkedIn and Facebook) o Turn approved copy and creative into live posts—on time and error-free o Assist with light edits to images or short videos (cropping, resizing, captions) o Monitor comments, engagement, and messages; flag important interactions o Help keep the social content calendar organized and up to date • Event Support o Assist with planning and executing trade shows, customer events, and field marketing activities o Help prep event materials (signage, handouts, swag, registration lists) o Support on-site setup, coordination, and breakdown (when applicable) o Capture photos or short videos during events for social content o Help with post-event follow-ups and recap summaries Nice to Haves • Basic knowledge of brand marketing concepts • Interest in B2B marketing, construction, or trades industries. Work Environment This position operates some of the time in a typical home and corporate office environment, spending time at a desk, typing at a computer, talking with people in person and on the phone, taking notes, and using standard office equipment. The job also requires job site visits. Travel Travel to job sites in the region is required.
