SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN ABOUT: GlobalVetLink is an animal health technology company that provides digital compliance and movement solutions for veterinarians, livestock producers, and animal owners. Our platform helps streamline Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (CVIs), Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) tests, and other regulatory documents across the U.S. GlobalVetLink is looking for a creative, motivated Social Media Intern to help bring our brand to life through short-form video content. This role will focus heavily on TikTok and Instagram Reels, with additional support for Facebook and other platforms. If you love storytelling, understand social media trends, and enjoy creating engaging videos — especially within animal health, veterinary medicine, equine, or agriculture — this could be a great fit. This internship is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience building a B2B brand in the animal health and ag-tech space. RESPONSIBILITIES: Create 3–5 engaging short-form videos per week for TikTok and Instagram Reels You, on camera, discussing educational or trend-based content Team members or veterinarians on camera, filmed in a clinic setting Animated or stock footage content with voiceover Develop creative concepts aligned with GlobalVetLink’s brand, products, and industry trends Translate complex veterinary compliance topics into simple, engaging, educational content Research trending audio, formats, and platform best practices Film, edit, and caption videos (CapCut, Canva, or similar tools preferred) Assist with planning and executing content calendars Track basic performance metrics (views, engagement, shares) and help identify content opportunities Support content creation for Facebook and LinkedIn as needed QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in Animal Science, Agricultural Communications, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field Strong interest in social media marketing or short-form video creation Comfortable personally being on camera or confident directing/producing content Familiar with TikTok and Instagram trends Basic video editing skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Organized and able to meet weekly content deadlines DETAILS: Compensation: $20/hour Hours: 10–15 hours/week Schedule: Flexible, with weekly content deadlines Location: Fully remote (occasional local trips to veterinary clinics for filming) Duration: 3 months, with potential to extend
