Job Title: Social Media Manager Type: Fixed-term contract (3 months, with potential renewal) Location: Remote, Nigeria-based Compensation: ₦75,000/month + post-contract upgrade pathway Reports to: Head of Operations About the Role Career Bridge Foundation is looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, and other relevant platforms. You will be responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and managing content that builds our brand, grows our community, increases engagement, and supports our mission of helping professionals build career-ready portfolios. This role is ideal for someone who understands B2B credibility and partnership development. Also turn creative content into engaging social media experiences and can execute consistently without constant supervision. What You'll Do Develop and execute a monthly social media content strategy aligned with Career Bridge's goals. Create and schedule engaging content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, and other relevant platforms. Write compelling captions and adapt messaging for each platform. Grow the Career Bridge Foundation social media community through consistent engagement and audience interaction. Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, responding in a timely and professional manner. Repurpose blogs, newsletters, webinars, podcasts, and other long-form content into platform-specific social media content. Collaborate with the Content Developer and Graphic Designer to produce high-quality visual and written content. Track platform performance, prepare weekly analytics reports, and recommend improvements based on insights. Stay up to date with platform trends, emerging content formats, and social media best practices. Support promotional campaigns for programmes, partnerships, events, and recruitment initiatives. Requirements 1+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a business, agency, or personal brand. Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and TikTok best practices. Excellent written English and the ability to adapt tone across different audiences and platforms. Experience using scheduling and analytics tools such as Buffer, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to grow engagement and build online communities. Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple content calendars. Self-motivated, creative, and proactive.
