Role Description
The Social Media Marketing Intern is a fully remote, contract role based in Kenya, responsible for supporting MDVirtualAssistant's online presence across social media platforms targeting US-based medical practice decision-makers. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with content planning, creating and scheduling social media posts, and helping manage community engagement through comments and direct messages. The intern will collaborate with the marketing team to support digital campaigns, track basic performance metrics, and suggest improvements based on audience interactions. Additional responsibilities may include conducting light market and competitor research, maintaining brand consistency in all content, and preparing simple reports on social media activities. Some overlap with US Eastern Time business hours is preferred for team coordination and content scheduling.
