Social Media Producer - Casual

UFC and boxing fans, this one's for you. We're hiring for Main Event and Kayo Sports. If you're obsessed with combat sports and you're fast on the tools, this could be you. If not, tag someone who lives for fight nights. We're looking for a Social Media Producer to help drive world class, algorithm-first content across Kayo Sports & Main Event social channels. This role is hands-on, fast paced, and built around the intensity of UFC, boxing and the wider world of combat sports- including fight weeks, magazine shows, live events, and breaking news moments. Key Responsibilities Creating and elevating editorial-led content tied to rivalries, athletes, breaking news, and cultural moments Monitor the combat sports news cycle and move fast when stories break Collaborate with producers, talent, and marketing teams to develop original content and formats Pitch and execute ideas that are outside the box and feel native to platform About your experience Strong knowledge of UFC, boxing and combat sports is non negotiable (essential) Advanced video editing and graphic design skills, with strong proficiency in Adobe Suite Videography skills preferred, bonus if you have your own kit Storytelling in video editing, pacing, and audience retention A social-first thinker with strong editorial judgement Clear understanding of the journalism side of sport, where accuracy, context, timing, sensitivity, and responsibility matter Deep understanding of major social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube Confident working with social performance data and using insights to improve output Powerful written communication and grammar Calm under pressure, fast on the tools, and proactive Must be Sydney based Due to the dynamic nature of live sports, this role requires significant flexibility. You must be available Monday to Sunday, including mornings and nights. Flexibility for fight weeks and live event coverage is essential.
