Job Overview

We're looking for a sharp, analytical Social Media Strategist to own social strategy for our American client accounts - across both company brand accounts and executive/personal brand accounts.

You won't be behind the camera or in the edit bay, we have a dedicated content writer and video editor/designer for that — but you'll be the one deciding what gets made, why, and whether it's working.

If you think in campaigns and content pillars before you think in Reels and hooks, and you're as comfortable reading an analytics dashboard as you are spotting a trend, this is your role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and own social media strategy for international (primarily US-based) client accounts across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X — for both company brand and executive/personal brand accounts.
2. Build and manage content calendars, briefing the in-house content writer and video editor/designer on what to create and why.
3. Identify trending formats, sounds, and viral content patterns, and translate them into brand-aligned creative briefs, not raw copies.
4. Set and track growth, engagement, and conversion goals per platform, per client.
5. Review content before it goes live to ensure it matches strategy, brand voice, and platform best practices, even though you're not the one producing it.
6. Monitor competitor activity and platform/algorithm changes, adjusting strategy proactively rather than reactively.
7. Analyze performance data (native analytics + third-party tools) and turn it into reporting and next-cycle strategy adjustments.
8. Collaborate closely with the content writer, video editor/designer, and any paid media resources to keep execution aligned with strategy.
9. Present strategy and results to internal leadership and, where relevant, directly to clients.

Required Skills & Experience

1. 4+ years of experience as a Social Media Strategist, Social Media Manager, or similar strategy-focused (not execution-only) role.
2. Proven experience working with international, especially US-based, brands or clients.
3. Strong strategic understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and short-form video content - you don't need to edit it, but you need to know exactly what makes it work.
4. Experience building and managing content calendars and briefing creative/content teams.
5. Strong grasp of organic growth tactics, audience engagement, and community-building strategy.
6. Comfortable using analytics tools (platform-native insights, GA4, or similar) to measure and report performance.
7. Ability to spot trends early and translate them into original, on-brand briefs rather than copies.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication — you'll be briefing creatives and presenting to leadership/clients regularly.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
2. Familiarity with influencer marketing and UGC strategy.
3. Familiarity with AI-powered content and research tools.
4. Experience presenting to or directly managing US-based clients.
