Company Description Wellbridge Center is a community-based adult day program launching in the Greater Toronto Area in 2027, dedicated to providing structured daily programming, social activities, nutritious meals, and compassionate care for seniors. The center is designed to support older adults in maintaining social connections, engagement, and well-being in a safe and welcoming environment. Wellbridge Center will offer a range of services that focus on dignity, respect, and high-quality care. Community members and families can already submit waitlist applications and reserve a spot by visiting wellbridgecenter.ca. Volunteers will contribute to building awareness and community support ahead of the official launch.
Role Description This is a remote volunteer role for a Social Media/Content Creator at Wellbridge Center. The volunteer will help develop and share engaging content across social media platforms to raise awareness of the upcoming adult day program and its services for seniors. Day-to-day tasks may include drafting social posts, creating basic graphics or short videos, writing captions and short articles, and scheduling content to align with program updates and community initiatives. The role also involves monitoring basic engagement, responding to comments or messages in a professional manner, and suggesting ideas to improve online outreach. The volunteer will collaborate with the Wellbridge Center team to ensure that all content reflects the organization’s values and is inclusive, accurate, and supportive of seniors and their families.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to create clear, engaging written content for social media and websites.
• Comfort with major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and basic content scheduling tools.
• Basic design or video skills using tools such as Canva or similar platforms are an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, including grammar, spelling, and consistent brand voice.
• Interest in senior care, community programs, or social impact initiatives.
• Reliable internet access and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Good organizational and time-management skills to meet agreed timelines.
• Prior experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or a related volunteer role is an asset but not required.
