Is this job info correct?

About Wellfit: Wellfit is a healthcare fintech platform that connects patients, providers, employers, and payors to remove financial barriers to care. Our technology enables healthcare organizations to offer flexible payment and financing solutions that improve patient access while helping providers grow their practices. As Wellfit continues to scale, we are investing in modern platform architecture that supports innovation, speed, intelligent automation, and highly configurable product experiences. About Wellfit Plans: Wellfit Plans is a platform that enables healthcare providers and organizations to offer customizable patient membership plans, discount programs, and treatment-related financial programs. The platform supports: • Plan configuration • Eligibility and enrollment workflows • Provider administration • Billing and payment integrations • Reporting across a growing network of healthcare organizations About the Role: Wellfit is seeking a Plans Architect to lead the architecture and evolution of the systems that power our Plans platform. This role will focus on the platform capabilities behind plan configuration, eligibility and enrollment logic, provider administration workflows, billing and payment integrations, reporting, and treatment-related financial programs. This is not a narrowly scoped application architecture role. The Plans Architect will need to think across product workflows, front-end experiences, backend services, APIs, data, integrations, and platform foundations. This person will help modernize and scale a business-critical product area while bringing structure and clarity to complex technical and business problems. The ideal candidate is hands-on enough to understand the technical details, senior enough to guide architecture, and able to lead teams through complexity with precision, ownership, and strong technical judgment. Key Responsibilities: Plans Architecture & Ownership • Architect and evolve the systems that support Wellfit’s Plans platform, including plan configuration, eligibility and enrollment workflows, provider administration, billing and payment integrations, and reporting. • Design scalable, maintainable solutions across a hybrid environment of legacy and modern systems. • Guide the evolution of Plans toward a more modular, service-oriented, and AI-enabled architecture. • Translate complex business rules and healthcare finance workflows into practical technical designs. • Identify opportunities to simplify, consolidate, or modernize services, workflows, and configuration logic. T echnical Leadership • Lead and mentor engineers working across the Plans ecosystem. • Guide architectural decisions across front-end, backend, API, data, and integration work. • Establish strong engineering standards for maintainability, reliability, and delivery quality. • Help teams move quickly while staying aligned to architectural direction and product intent. Stakeholder Collaboration • Partner with Product, Engineering, Platform, Operations, and business stakeholders to understand Plans workflows and business needs. • Communicate architectural decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. • Serve as a technical bridge between product strategy, engineering execution, and platform scalability. AI-Augmented Development • Participate in Wellfit’s BMAD environment. • Use AI-driven development tools and workflows to accelerate delivery and improve engineering productivity. • Help the team adopt AI as a force multiplier for design, development, testing, documentation, and problem-solving. Qualifications: • 8+ years of software engineering experience. • 3+ years in architecture, principal engineering, or senior system design roles. • Strong experience with C# and .NET ecosystems. • Experience with Azure cloud environments. • Experience designing APIs, service architectures, distributed systems, and integration patterns. • Familiarity with SQL and enterprise data architectures. • Experience working in environments with both legacy and modern systems. • Ability to understand and guide front-end architecture, ideally with Angular or a similar modern framework. • Experience with complex business rules, configurable systems, eligibility logic, enrollment workflows, billing workflows, or workflow-heavy applications. • Strong communication skills with technical, product, and business stakeholders. • Thrives in bringing structure and clarity to complex problems. Preferred Experience: • Experience in healthcare technology, fintech, dental technology, insurance, payments, lending, or regulated platforms. • Experience with provider-facing applications, membership plan platforms, discount programs, treatment planning, plan configuration, eligibility workflows, enrollment workflows, or payor-aligned rules. • Experience with microservices, containerization, and distributed cloud architectures. • Experience integrating with external vendors or third-party systems. • Familiarity with AI-augmented development workflows. Why Join Wellfit: • Build business-critical platform capabilities powering a rapidly growing healthcare fintech company. • Help shape the future architecture of Wellfit’s Plans platform. • Work in an environment investing heavily in AI-driven development and platform innovation. • Collaborate with a high-impact engineering organization building modern healthcare finance technology. • Make Impact: Help expand access to care by improving the systems that connect providers, patients, employers, and payors. • Hybrid Flexibility: 3 days per week in our Dallas office. • Competitive Compensation: Salary, bonus eligibility, and 401(k) matching. • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and generous PTO. • Growth Opportunity: Join a profitable, scaling company building modern, AI-enabled infrastructure.
