Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst / Asset Metadata Steward to support global IT asset operations, software lifecycle management, and metadata governance within a large-scale ServiceNow environment. The role focuses on maintaining accurate, standardized, and audit-ready asset, software, vendor, catalog, and entitlement data while supporting procurement, compliance, reporting, and lifecycle governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support hardware and software asset lifecycle management, including procurement, entitlement tracking, renewals, and retirement activities
• Maintain and validate asset metadata, software inventory, license records, catalogs, vendors, models, and SKU mappings
• Work within ServiceNow HAM, SAM Pro, and CMDB modules for asset tracking, reporting, and governance
• Perform data cleansing, normalization, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities
• Monitor software license consumption, renewal timelines, and compliance risks
• Generate reports, dashboards, audit logs, and lifecycle tracking metrics
• Maintain audit-ready documentation including contracts, entitlements, license data, and renewal records
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, compliance, vendors, and global business units to ensure governance alignment
• Support workflow improvements, catalog governance, and operational process optimization
• Identify asset optimization opportunities, data inconsistencies, and operational risks

Required Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow ITAM, HAM, SAM Pro, and CMDB modules
• Knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and software lifecycle management
• Experience with asset governance, entitlement tracking, catalog management, and compliance reporting
• Strong analytical, reporting, and data validation skills
• Familiarity with software licensing and vendor management processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively across global teams and multiple time zones
