Software Consulting Engineering Manager

Tech Soft 3D is the leading provider of engineering software development toolkits and enterprise applications for CAD/CAE data conversion, visualization, and data publishing. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Consulting Engineering Manager to join our Relationships team. In this role, you’ll work hand-in-hand with a team of highly skilled Consulting Engineers to help our customers solve complex technical challenges, guide product integration, and ensure our tools deliver maximum value. You’ll lead the team responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, building trusted partner relationships, and helping customers achieve long-term success. You will take a hands-on approach, bringing strong technical depth in 3D and meaningful pre-sales exposure. This role combines leadership, collaboration, and technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction, growth, and long-lasting relationships. This is a remote role based in the U.S, managing team members in France, U.S, Canada, and Japan. What You’ll Do: Inspire and Lead: Manage, coach and develop a high-performing, global consultancy team Build Trusted Relationships: Foster strong connections with partners, peers, and cross-functional teams Strategic Impact: Collaborate with senior management to define and achieve business goals Drive Customer Success: Understand customer needs, guide technical solutions, and ensure a great experience from first conversation to long-term adoption Shape the Products: Turn customer insights into feedback that helps guide product development and roadmaps Bring Solutions to Life: Present and demonstrate Tech Soft 3D software in ways that clearly connect technical capabilities to customer value Partner with Sales and Marketing: Create compelling content for sales proposals and contribute to engaging marketing materials Continually Pursue Excellence: Stay current on technology and market changes that may affect or enhance our products Enhance How the Team Works: Partner with the Sr. Director of Partner Development to refine tools, processes and workflows so the team can operate efficiently and sustainably Champion company culture: Build positive relationships, stay agile through change, and help create a collaborative high-performing team environment What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computing, product design, physics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience 10+ years’ experience working in the Automotive, Aerospace, or Defense sectors, either as an end-user or within the CAD/PLM/PDM software ecosystem Previous people management experience Solid understanding of 3D geometry and CAD A track record of success in pre-sales and technical support Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Ability to manage complex customer relationships and technical challenges Ability to travel occasionally Bonus Points If You Have: Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools Experience working with an international team Reasons to Not Apply: We believe in matching great talent with the right roles. The salary for this role is based on a combination of factors, including experience, education, and any special skills or expertise you bring. The U.S. pay range is $160k - $165k/year.
