Software Develeopment Engineer 2

We are looking for a talented and experienced engineer to join our DevOps and AI-focused team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our technology by leveraging your skills in Python, AI/ML, and data handling. You will collaborate closely with data engineers and the DevOps team to process and analyze Big Data, extract valuable insights, and integrate AI/ML models into our software systems. Design and develop Python-based software solutions, prioritizing scalability, performance, and security. Implement AI/ML models, particularly RAG techniques, to enhance our software capabilities. Collaborate with the DevOps team for seamless deployment and operation of applications. Work hand-in-hand with data engineers to process and analyze Big Data, utilizing data lakes, data warehouses, or lakehouses. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high software quality. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Python, AI/ML, and DevOps to drive innovation. Document and maintain comprehensive software documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing. Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Participate in agile development practices, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is essential. 2+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python, is required. Proficiency in AI/ML techniques, especially RAG, and experience with Big Data analytics is a must. Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including version control and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with cloud technologies and security best practices is highly preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and analytical approach to software development. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, fostering effective teamwork. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and programming languages. Familiarity with agile development methodologies is advantageous. A passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to cutting-edge technology.
