Description
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineer
Proficient knowledge with Java
This position is hybrid, requiring a combination of remote and in-office work. To support collaboration and occasional on-site requirements, preference will be given to candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the work location.
U.S. Citizen or Green Card Permanent Resident, minimum 3+ years of U.S. residency and Public Trust approval
Desired Qualifications:
Desired experience includes: engineering and mathematics programming background.
Geospatial knowledge, aviation industry knowledge, knowledge of web map services, J2EE, XML/AIXM, CAD programs, Matlab all a plus.
Requires the ability to work on existing code within existing designs in a large and diverse Java application.
Requires highly productive consistent independent performance to produce quality solutions to existing software problems or new features.
Candidate must have strong testing skills for testing independently both before and after changes in order to produce high quality solutions prior to submitting for formal review and testing.
Ability to work in a professional environment, learn and work well with others, and share information is essential.
Candidate should have a strong interest in engineering software programming with a long term employment outlook.
