Key Responsibilities Develop and test Microsoft Windows-based software systems using C#, .NET, and SQL in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration practices to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery Contribute to Agile development ceremonies and sprint cycles, maintaining a strong continuous improvement mindset Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality Build strong working relationships across diverse teams while maintaining a clear focus on customer needs and product quality Essential Requirements Hands-on experience in C#, .NET, and SQL with a proven ability to develop and test Microsoft Windows-based software systems Expertise in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) practices Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Proficiency in AI-assisted rapid software development using tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI coding assistants Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master's Degree in Computer Science is a plus Desired Skills and Competencies Impact – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent judgment; able to assess complex challenges and deliver meaningful, results-driven solutions Trust – Excellent written and verbal communication in English with the ability to build strong, trusted relationships across a diverse group of colleagues and customers Aspiration – Quality and teamwork oriented with a customer-first mindset, consistently striving to raise the bar on software standards and personal growth Curiosity – Openness to emerging technologies, particularly AI-assisted development tools, with a passion for exploring new ways to improve development speed and code quality R&D at AVEVA Our global team of 2000+ developers work on an incredibly diverse portfolio of over 75 industrial automation and engineering products, which cover everything from data management to 3D design.
