Let me tell you about the role As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining the user interfaces and backend logic that bring our platforms to life. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and product teams to create secure, responsive, and accessible web experiences—while improving performance, automating workflows, and shaping engineering standards, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the software infrastructure and services that powers our technology platforms. What you will deliver Design sophisticated front-end components, services, platforms, and APIs, prioritizing seamless communication with back-end systems through RESTful architectures. Develop highly responsive, scalable, and secure front-end solutions collaboratively with other engineers, taking ownership of projects from conception to production deployment. Advocate for and adhere to best practices in front-end development, including writing secure and maintainable code, implementing comprehensive unit and integration testing, and establishing CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments. Integrate front-end systems seamlessly with external and internal services and APIs, facilitating smooth data exchange and interoperability Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of large-scale, cloud-based applications and infrastructure What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications) Technical skills we need from you Skilled in software engineering practices for full Software Development Life Cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments (e.g., ADO pipeline), testing, and operations. Demonstrated experience with Agility core practices, including Scrum Skilled in building complex software systems end-to-end which have been optimally delivered and operated in production, should understand security and privacy standard methodologies as well as how to properly monitor in production systems. Comfortable working with design systems and collaborating closely with UX and product teams. Software Skills Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in modern frameworks like React. Skilled in scripting skills for Bash or PowerShell. Familiar with backend frameworks (.NET) and standard software engineering practices—version control, automated testing, CI/CD, and debugging Strong skills in HTML and CSS, with a focus on responsive, accessible, and secure front-end development. Experience integrating with backend systems using RESTful APIs. Familiar with frontend performance monitoring, optimization techniques, and privacy/security best practices. Infrastructure Skills Skilled in building and scaling infrastructure services using Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services Skilled in the understanding of using core cloud application infrastructure services including identity platforms, networking, storage, databases, containers, and serverless Skills that set you apart Strong communication skills—you can clearly explain ideas, ask questions, and align cross-functional teams. Analytical mindset with the ability to debug issues and find practical solutions fast. Comfortable working independently, navigating ambiguity, and driving clarity. Passion for learning and improving—technically and interpersonally. Flexible and adaptable to new tools, frameworks, and workflows.
