Software Engineer C#.Net

As a Software Engineer working on VidiNet, you will contribute to the development and improvement of backend services and workflows that power media management solutions. This role involves collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams to build scalable and reliable features in a cloud-based environment. You will have opportunities to develop your technical skills, contribute ideas, and support continuous improvement of the platform. What You’ll Do Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and workflows Support development of APIs and integrations with other systems and services Help identify and address performance, scalability, and reliability considerations Participate in technical discussions and collaborate on design decisions Contribute to testing practices, including unit and integration tests Review code with peers and support shared coding standards Work with QA, Product, and DevOps teams to deliver effective solutions Support investigation and resolution of technical issues across the platform Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing What You Bring Experience & Background Experience in software development, particularly backend or platform-based systems Experience working with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud-based applications is helpful Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Technical Skills Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) Familiarity with cloud technologies and environments (e.g., AWS, containers, Kubernetes, Docker) Understanding of APIs, integrations, and service-based architectures Familiarity with databases, data structures, and general software design principles Experience supporting troubleshooting and debugging across application layers What Helps You Succeed Collaborative approach to working with teams Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly Willingness to learn and develop new skills Ability to manage priorities in a structured way
