We are looking for a Backend Engineer (C#/.Net) (m/f/d) Join our team at our location in Stockholm – hybrid working conditions available. You’ll be part of a product team building and evolving reliable, scalable software in a modern engineering environment. We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, cares about code quality, and wants to have a real impact on both our products and engineering practices. What you’ll be doing: Design, develop, test, and ship robust, maintainable, and readable software, applications, APIs, and workflows Contribute to technical architecture design decisions Work as part of an agile, cross-functional team and actively participat in Scrum ceremonies Analyze, discuss, and implement business requirements while maintaining good documentation of the systems and components you create Bring in industry standards and best practices to continually improve our codebase and architecture Make a positive impact on our engineering culture by adopting, implementing, and providing feedback on both organizational and industry standards and practices What you bring: 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with C# and .NET Strong experience building and maintaining backend services A solid understanding of RESTful APIs Practical experience with data access patterns and ORMs, ideally Entity Framework Good knowledge of relational databases, preferably SQL Server Familiarity with distributed architectures, including service-to-service communication and asynchronous messaging Experience with cloud-hosted and containerized applications, ideally Azure and Docker; Kubernetes is a plus Experience troubleshooting application issues using logs and monitoring tools Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to speed up coding, testing, and debugging, along with sound judgment about when and how to rely on AI-generated output.
