Software Engineer (Datadog) at BairesDev
As a Software Engineer (Datadog), you will specialize in implementing and optimizing the Datadog platform across the organization to ensure comprehensive system visibility. You will bridge the gap between complex infrastructure and actionable insights, managing APM, dashboards, and alerts to maintain high performance and cost-efficiency.
What You'll Do
Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide observability solutions using the Datadog platform.
Configure and optimize Application Performance Monitoring (APM) to track and improve service health.
Develop and maintain sophisticated dashboards and alerting mechanisms for proactive incident detection.
Implement log management and synthetic monitoring strategies to ensure end-to-end system reliability.
Manage and optimize Datadog-related costs and resource allocation across various engineering teams.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to standardize telemetry collection and monitoring best practices.
What We Are Looking For
4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Observability.
Proven expertise in implementing and optimizing Datadog across large-scale organizations.
Proficiency in configuring Datadog APM, log management, and synthetic monitoring.
Hands-on experience building custom dashboards and alerting strategies to ensure system health.
Strong background in cost management and resource optimization within the Datadog platform.
Advanced proficiency in English.
