As a Software Engineer specializing in dbt, you will transform data in the warehouse by writing modular models, tests, and documentation. You will apply software engineering rigor to SQL transformations, ensuring that complex data pipelines are maintainable, scalable, and reliable.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop modular dbt models to transform raw data into analytics-ready tables and views.
• Implement software engineering best practices such as version control and automated testing for SQL-based transformations.
• Collaborate with data stakeholders to define and document robust data models and business logic.
• Optimize dbt projects for performance and cost-efficiency within the cloud data warehouse.
• Maintain the integrity of the data platform by ensuring high test coverage and clear documentation for all models.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in transforming data using dbt, including writing models, tests, and documentation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling within modern data warehouses.
• Experience applying software engineering rigor to data transformation and analytic workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
