Software Engineer (Golang/TypeScript/React) Software Engineer (Golang/TypeScript/React) Mexico City, Mexico– remote. Please note that while this role is remote, we require team members to be based in this region for periodic in-person meet-ups. Reporting to Lead Software Engineer Typical hours are Monday-Friday, working 9-5 EST/EDT, with potential on-call support required We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team, responsible for working on our platform, which some of the world's biggest companies, central banks and non-governmental organisations use to build revenue and volume through data and analytics. What success looks like in this role: Designing, developing, testing, maintaining and enhancing the Golang microservices and frontend applications you're responsible for Delivering beautiful, performant interfaces, driven by our design system, for our customers Improving the performance and observability of our services and applications Improving the quality of life of your team and the business, through automation, process improvement or new technologies About the team: You will join a technical team of approximately 30 technologists with a key purpose of continuously and reliably collecting large amounts of financial data describing cross-border payments, then processing the data, verifying its quality and serving it to our users so that they can make informed business decisions A typical team contains around three engineers and a Product Manager You will be interacting with various stakeholders across the business in addition to your immediate team You should apply if you can confidently: Write Golang services and web app backends, and deploy them in Docker containers Build beautiful, componentised application frontends in React/TypeScript Write performant SQL Understand clean code principles and the language idioms of TypeScript and Go, review code using these principles and establish team quality standards Learn and engage with a new business domain and product Communicate complex topics to your peers Talk about how you learn and improve your skills These skills will help, but aren’t essential: Applications with concurrent logic (i.e. goroutines) Building CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitLab CI Configuring and using observability tools (e.g. Prometheus and Grafana) Experience utilising AI to increase productivity and efficiency of work and productionised AI tools MaterialUI Using Airflow, Python or Terraform Tech Stack : Golang, TypeScript, React, MaterialUI, MariaDB, Clickhouse, Gitlab, AWS, SQL AI Usage Disclaimer: At FXC Intelligence, we are enthusiastic about the use of AI tools and value candidates with experience or interest in AI technologies.
