About the Role We're looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our growing HealthTech team. You will play a key role in building and scaling technology solutions that address significant challenges in Singapore's healthcare landscape. This role requires you to be a versatile full-stack engineer , comfortable working across different parts of our systems – from frontend interfaces to backend logic and infrastructure. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within the public sector, transforming user needs and product goals into high-quality, impactful software. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy scalable production-ready software across the stack - from frontend components to backend services and infrastructure. Write maintainable, readable, and performant code while participating in code reviews to ensure engineering quality. Work closely with PMs, designers, and officers on the ground to identify opportunities, scope features, test hypotheses, and ship solutions that solve real pain points. Write and review engineering documentation such as RFCs and technical specifications to improve knowledge sharing. Set up robust monitoring, alerting, and testing practices to ensure our systems are production-ready and reliable. Own features end-to-end, from discovery and prototyping to deployment and iteration. What we are looking for Strong foundation across modern software engineering and multiple layers of the stack. Experience designing REST APIs and working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases. Excellent communication skills, especially in understanding and translating problems and requirements into software. Strong product thinking and empathy for users - especially non-technical ones. Care360: A patient management system that helps Medical Social Workers manage their patients’ financial and psychosocial care. Scribe: A transcription and summarisation tool that helps social-health practitioners transform their conversations into structured case notes.
