Software Engineer II - Python I SQL I Tableau

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer II to join our engineering team and contribute to the development, automation, integration, and security of software solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in DevSecOps practices, software development, automation scripting, and configuration management. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality engineering solutions. You will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. Key Responsibilities: Implement and support DevSecOps practices across the software development lifecycle. Create and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python and PowerShell. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to security, coding, and quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve software integration, build, deployment, and configuration issues. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities and process enhancements. Develop technical documentation, user guides, and operational procedures. YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics. Minimum 2 years of professional software development or DevSecOps experience. Hands-on experience with Git and Bitbucket source code management systems. Strong experience with Python and/ or PowerShell scripting and automation. Experience implementing and supporting DevSecOps, CI/CD, and secure software development practices. Familiarity with software configuration management, build, and release processes. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. WE VALUE .NET / .NET Core SQL Server / Database Development Cloud Technologies (Azure/AWS) Application Security & Secure CodingExperience working with SQL Server or other relational database technologies. Experience creating SQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimization solutions. Experience with Tableau dashboard development, reporting, and data visualization. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Bamboo.
