Business-critical functions empower these teams to execute, and together, we’re working toward one bold goal: a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all. ========================================================================= TEAM The Teammate Driving (Features) team’s mission is to realize stable AD/ADAS systems for POV (Privately Owned Vehicle) as an automated driving product by using sensors to recognize and judge the situation and control the vehicle appropriately. Our ultimate goal is to provide a new lifestyle that our customer has never experienced before through our automated driving. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? As a software engineer, you will develop software that is robust and optimal for AD/ADAS systems. We expect you to have experience in at least one of the below areas: ・Robotics or automated driving systems ・Path/Motion planning ・Motion controlling You’ll also have a strong passion for developing and delivering AD/ADAS products that are used around the world. RESPONSIBILITIES As a software engineer, you will be involved in developing AD/ADAS products, including tasks such as defining requirements, coding, testing, evaluating, and discussing with clients and other teams inside Woven. ・Collaborate in cross-functional teams to create safer and more reliable AD/ADAS systems ・Develop and integrate components of AD/ADAS products to enhance functionality and performance ・Evaluate software components using simulations and real-world vehicle tests ・Deliver high-quality software by conducting tests and code reviews to ensure readiness for productization ・Continuously review and enhance our development processes, including workflow and CI/CD practices ・Report to the driving feature engineering manager, and come to the office 3 days a week as per our hybrid work policy MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS B.S. in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field Experience in research / product development of robotics, AD/ADAS, or related technologies Hands-on software development skills in C/C++ or Python Working proficiency in English Business level proficiency in Japanese (ability to work with customers) NICE TO HAVES M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics or a related field Experience in development of automotive software products, particularly in C++ Knowledge of embedded software implementation Knowledge and experience in CI/CD ========================================================================= Important Points ・All interviews will be arranged via Google Meet, unless otherwise stated. ・The same job descriptions are available in both English and Japanese; therefore, we kindly ask that you apply to only one version. ・We kindly request that you submit your resume in English, if possible.
