We’re supporting a growing marketing technology company in finding a Software Engineer for its core Product team.

The company develops a data-driven platform used by organisations worldwide to manage customer data, automate communication and create personalised experiences across multiple channels.

You’ll work within a Scrum team, building and improving a complex product ecosystem while contributing to its wider technical direction. It’s a hands-on role with plenty of ownership, technical variety and room to share your knowledge.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop, test and implement new product functionality
• Translate technical concepts into structured, maintainable software
• Contribute to architectural and technical discussions
• Investigate complex issues and provide second-line technical support
• Review and support the work of junior developers
• Improve development and testing environments
• Work closely with Product, Engineering and Support teams
• Follow secure development practices and ISO 27001 standards
• Handle sensitive customer and business data responsibly

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with object-oriented programming and web technologies
• Strong understanding of IT systems and internet technologies
• The ability to turn abstract ideas into practical solutions
• A proactive approach and genuine curiosity about technology
• Confidence explaining and supporting technical decisions
• A pragmatic, quality-focused mindset
• Someone who enjoys collaborating while still taking ownership of their work
