Job Category: Academic Staff Employment Type: Regular Job Profile: Software Engineer/Developer III Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director - Student Enterprise Applications, this position will join a team of developers and other IT professionals to analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Information System (SIS) and its integrations in support of establishing a sustainable institutional technological infrastructure. Key Job Responsibilities: 5%: Reviews application modules for quality assurance and checks compliance with application architecture standards 5%: Conducts analysis for the evaluation and selection of vendor software solutions and packages 5%: Leads sub-functional team for application development or enhancement 30%: Reviews application design specifications, codes new applications, and makes enhancements to existing applications 5%: Contributes to the development of data structure and systems performance strategies 5%: Trains and provides technical guidance to lower level staff 5%: Unique Responsibility - Meet the documented Office of the Registrar standards including but not limited to: standards in customer service, participation, communications, professional development, and testing of processes/systems. Compensation: The minimum salary is $85,000. Salary is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalists.
