Provide architectural leadership for secure, scalable Java microservices and cloud-native applications to enhance system performance and reliability. Partner with product management and business stakeholders to define technical roadmaps, balance tech debt, and streamline project delivery. Enforce rigorous engineering standards for code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cybersecurity across all applications. Oversee production health and incident response to maintain system availability and swiftly resolve root causes for operational issues. What minimum requirements you’ll need Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming or substantially related field is required. High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required. Work Experience: 3 years of experience required. 5 years of experience preferred. 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred. 3 years of experience required. 5 years of experience preferred. 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred. What additional preferences we're seeking 8 years of software engineering experience developing enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. 3 years of direct experience leading or managing technical engineering teams, including delivery oversight and technical decision-making. Documented experience building, deploying, or supporting scalable applications within a major public cloud platform (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure).
