For more information, please visit www.youthvillages.org Position Overview: The Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, reporting to the Liferay Product Manager as part of the Product & Innovation (P&I) team within the IT department, works closely with the Youth Villages’ Business Intelligence, Research, Clinical Services, Strategic Partnerships, and other departments to support the technical development and implementation of the organization’s proprietary clinical platform, GuideTree. The Software QA Analyst works alongside the development team and Product Manager to build and maintain an automated test suite and manual test plan to support GuideTree product development. This position also works on special projects, including any new custom development, as requested by the Manager, Director, or CIO, as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Software Quality Assurance Analyst: Designs and develops automated tests using Cypress, Selenium, or similar testing tools Develops and executes manual testing plans for software development Participates in reviews of designs and technical specifications Documents testing plans and results, communicating feedback and issues to development team Assists product and development teams with triaging user-identified issues and bugs Supports product and development team in identifying and documenting edge cases and system limitations Runs database queries, supports release cycle, develops Java, JavaScript, or Python, and/or configures Liferay as needed Performs other duties as assigned Additional Information: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
