THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a Software Specialist to join our presales team, based in Brisbane, QLD.
Reporting to the Pre-Sales Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for growing our Print Management Solutions business by partnering with Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored software solutions that drive real business value. Working closely with our Pre-Sales team, you'll build trusted relationships, uncover new opportunities, and play a pivotal role in helping customers transform the way they work while contributing to the ongoing growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Grow and develop a portfolio of customers by uncovering new business opportunities and expanding existing solution engagements.
• Act as a trusted advisor, helping organisations improve business outcomes through innovative software and workflow solutions.
• Work alongside industry-leading Pre-Sales specialists to design and deliver tailored solutions that solve real customer challenges.
• Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from strategic customer engagement and solution design through to commercial negotiation and contract close.
• Build lasting partnerships with customers, providing ongoing guidance and identifying opportunities to support their long-term success.
Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience in solution-based or consultative sales, with a strong track record of building client relationships and achieving sales outcomes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand business drivers, develop compelling business cases, and articulate solution value.
• Ability to identify customer challenges and align software and business solutions to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles, navigating purchasing and decision-making processes, and balancing client expectations.
• Highly organised and results-driven, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Candidates with experience in Print Management Solutions (e.g Papercut, YSoft, Control Suite) will be highly regarded
