UN COMN is seeking a Software Tester 2-3 (Associate/Mid-Level) to: Be at the forefront of high-level automation, applying top-tier quality engineering principles to ensure our products not only meet but exceed specifications. Collaborate closely with engineers and the development team, leveraging automated testing tools to craft streamlined test processes. Support the entire spectrum of product and system testing, covering everything from function and component evaluation to system, performance, regression, and service testing. Actively participate in software team meetings, design reviews, peer reviews, and other relevant gatherings where your insights will shape the direction of our projects. Set up test environments, design effective test plans, and create test cases, scenarios, and usage cases. Provide technical and administrative direction, ensuring software development tasks align with our goals. This is a primarily remote position with a current requirement to work onsite every Wednesday. Additional onsite days may be required periodically based on business needs. This position description outlines the core duties for this role, but it is not all-inclusive. Responsibilities may shift based on contract requirements, mission needs, or organizational objectives. Requirements 2+ years of related professional experience. Deep understanding of software development fundamentals, requirements, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Ability to perform complex tasks with minimal supervision and guidance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective time management, scheduling, and organizational skills. Must be willing to obtain relevant certifications as required by future client or contract needs. Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility. Preferred Prior experience with SoapUI and Jira. Experience with the automated testing tool, TestComplete. Active CompTIA Security+ and/or Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related course of study from an accredited college or university.
