Solution Architect

The job duties for the position consist of the following: Design and implement multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) to enable real-time analytics and AI-driven insights. Develop high-throughput data pipelines using Spark, Kafka, and Kinesis for predictive maintenance, grid optimization, and other data-driven applications. Lead cloud migration projects, optimizing performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Ensure data governance, security, and regulatory compliance, including NERC-CIP and GDPR standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business objectives. Define and document technical design specifications and system implementation guidelines. Evaluate the utility and effectiveness of software and hardware technologies, recommending improvements to enhance system performance. Manage IT projects and system activities, coordinating software installation, configuration, and deployment. Monitor computer system performance to ensure reliability and proper functioning. Identify resource requirements for IT initiatives, including hardware, software, and personnel. Oversee hardware installation and infrastructure integration to support enterprise systems. Experience Requirements: 6 years of experience in data architecture, cloud solutions, AI/ML. Expertise in AWS, Azure, Python, Scala, and distributed data processing. Experience in energy sector applications (smart grids, IoT, trading platforms) Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a major in computer science or related field from an accredited institution with six years relevant experience, or a Master’s degree, with a major in computer science or related field from an accredited institution. Telecommuting or remote work is acceptable.
