Who We Are Geoforce is the world’s leading Field Asset Intelligence provider, on a mission to connect the world’s equipment. Since 2007, we have helped organizations network the rugged, remote, mobile, and often disconnected equipment their businesses depend on. Today, Geoforce connects more than 250,000 assets across 90+ countries through purpose-built rugged devices, global cellular and satellite connectivity, and powerful cloud software. Fleet Management solutions were built around drivers and driver workflows. Field Asset Intelligence is built around equipment. By connecting revenue-critical equipment and turning its activity into actionable intelligence, Geoforce helps customers improve utilization, efficiency, agility, and competitive advantage. We are building and defining this category — and we want curious, confident people who are energized by the opportunity to build something different. About the Role Geoforce is looking for a Solution Architect — a technically minded, customer-facing problem solver who helps our sellers win large, complex, and unique opportunities. The Solution Architect works closely with Account Executives and Account Managers to understand customer needs, design the right solution, and establish confidence in how Geoforce technology will work. You will support discovery, solution design, tailored demonstrations, technical presentations, POCs, integrations, proposals, architectural discussions, and technical validation. You will quickly develop expertise across Geoforce hardware and software and learn to translate technical capability into business value. This role supports sellers, but it also requires leadership. You should know when your expertise needs to lead the conversation, when to challenge an assumption or recommend a different approach, and when to support the AE or AM as they lead the customer relationship. What You’ll Do Partner closely with Account Executives and Account Managers on strategic new-logo opportunities and significant or unique customer expansion opportunities. Lead technical discovery to understand customer workflows, equipment, operating environments, requirements, constraints, and desired outcomes. Design and configure solutions across Geoforce hardware, software, connectivity, and services. Develop and deliver tailored and custom demos, technical presentations, solution proposals, and other materials required to advance opportunities. Lead or support POCs, technical evaluations, integrations, architectural discussions, and solution validation. Develop deep expertise across Geoforce devices, software, APIs, integrations, data flows, and solution architecture. Know the Geoforce price book and accurately configure solutions while supporting the AE/AM, who owns the commercial conversation. Help sellers — particularly newer sellers — understand our technology, where Geoforce wins, and how to position our solutions effectively. Prioritize multiple engagements based on customer need, opportunity complexity, strategic importance, and potential company impact. Marshal resources across Product, Engineering, Operations, Support, Marketing, and other teams to solve complex customer problems and fill solution gaps. Build consensus among customers, sellers, technical stakeholders, and internal teams around the right approach. Apply approved AI and GenAI tools to improve discovery, accelerate solution design, develop demos and technical content, strengthen proposals, and scale repeatable pre-sales work. Bring customer and prospect learning back into Geoforce to improve products, processes, messaging, and future solutions. What You’ll Bring 8+ years of professional experience demonstrating technical aptitude, customer engagement, problem solving, solution development, or increasing responsibility. Strong technical curiosity and the ability to quickly develop expertise across both hardware and software . Ability to understand complex customer problems and translate them into practical technology solutions. Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills across business, operational, and technical audiences. Experience with technical discovery, solution design, demos, proposals, POCs, or similar customer-facing work. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly in business terms and connect technical capability to customer value. Comfort working through ambiguity and developing creative approaches when the answer is not obvious. Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple complex opportunities without losing attention to detail. Strong collaboration, consensus-building, and leadership skills without requiring formal authority. Commercial awareness and an understanding that solution value should be established before price becomes the center of the conversation. Confidence in where Geoforce wins, paired with the judgment to never overstate what the technology can do. A team-first mentality and the situational awareness to know when to lead, challenge, advise, or let the AE/AM lead. Meaningful interest in artificial intelligence and how it can improve and scale pre-sales work. What Matters Most We think curiosity is a professional capability . A great Solution Architect wants to understand the equipment, workflow, environment, technology, economics, and constraints behind a customer problem — not simply match a requirement to a feature. You want to know how something works, not just memorize what it does. You ask the next question, learn quickly, and are comfortable saying, “I don’t know yet, but I know how to find out.” You bring technical confidence without arrogance, challenge conventional thinking when it improves the solution, and have some swagger about where Geoforce wins and why it matters. Nice to Have Experience in Solution Architecture, Sales Engineering, Solution Consulting, Pre-Sales Engineering, Application Engineering, or a related role. Experience with IoT, telematics, industrial technology, connected devices, cellular or satellite communications, or location-based solutions. Experience with B2B SaaS or enterprise software. Experience with APIs, integrations, system architecture, or enterprise data environments. Experience supporting industrial, energy, construction, equipment rental, logistics, or other equipment-intensive industries. Experience using Salesforce. Practical experience applying AI or GenAI tools to technical, sales, proposal, demonstration, or discovery workflows. Prior industry experience is helpful. Technical aptitude, curiosity, judgment, customer presence, and learning velocity matter more. Why Join Geoforce This role offers the opportunity to work on some of Geoforce’s largest, most technically interesting, and most unique opportunities. You will work directly with sellers, customers, Product, Engineering, and experts across the company. You will have the latitude to think creatively, the responsibility to establish technical confidence, and the opportunity to shape solutions rather than simply demonstrate features. You will also be joining Geoforce at an important moment: we are defining Field Asset Intelligence and working toward a world in which revenue-critical equipment is no longer disconnected. For the right person, the role offers meaningful career progression as our business, solutions, and category expand.
